MACKOWIAK - James J. “Mackie” December 9, 2013, beloved husband of Linda (Partacz); devoted father of Amanda (Don) Benker and Stacey (Dan) Lutman; loving grandfather of D.J., Mackie and Mattingly; cherished son of Emilie (Swiatek) and the late Harry Mackowiak; dear brother of Rosemarie O’Bannion. Mr. Mackowiak was an Army veteran, a member of St. Gabriel’s Holy Name Society, Bishop Ryan High School Alumni Association, and a retired Boys’ Basketball Referee. Memorials in James’ name may be made to Bishop Ryan High School Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Francis High School, 4129 Lake Shore Rd., Athol Springs, NY 14010. Flowers gratefully declined.
