History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
The Buszka Funeral Home, Inc. was established in 1921 by Mr. John Buszka who was considered the premier funeral director in the area. At that time, when someone passed away they were viewed at the families home, but eventually Mr. Buszka with his forward thinking built the first area funeral home which was located at 1997 Clinton Street. The family business was then passed on to Mr. Buszka's son who passed away at a young age leaving his daughter, Mary, to carry on the family tradition to care for the families in the area. Then, in 1968, the first modern funeral home of the time was built at the corner of Clinton Street and South Ogden. In July of 2005, the funeral home was passed on to myself and over the past 5 years the funeral home has gone through a complete remodeling with the addition of the newest technology and conveniences to help our families in their difficult times. Buszka Funeral Home has become known as a leader in the funeral industry with a first class facility and world class service.
